NTPDA Code of Conduct

Members of the NT Prospectors and Detectorists Association Inc (NTPDA) must:

  • Uphold and respect legislation relating to prospecting and fossicking in the NT.

  • Protect the natural environment and minimise the footprint by back filling holes, correctly disposing of rubbish and minimising damage to vegetation and tracks.

  • Protect places and objects of cultural or heritage significance.

  • Ensure your own health and safety whilst in the field and that of others.

  • Respect the property, values and rights of others.

  • Promote and advocate responsible prospecting and fossicking.
