• Is to uphold, represent and advance the heritage, rights and interests of prospectors and detectorists in the NT.

• Develop and connect a community of members to create a thriving, inclusive and diverse association.

• Promote and strengthen the credibility and image of prospectors and detectorists in the NT.

• To make submissions to the Government and other stakeholders, on matters affecting land access rights, prospecting and fossicking.

• To support conservation of the natural environment and to liaise with the controlling authorities.

• To support and encourage the preservation of prospecting knowledge and skills.
